I thought the bungalow was very well equipped, very roomy and comfortable. The garden was lovely and picturesque and well positioned for exploring the southern part of the lakes.We had a lovely family holiday despite the rainy days. My grandson, who is 3 in October, loved being so close to the Steam Railway.....September 2011
... We had a really enjoyable time and would definitely book to come again = hopefully next year!! The way you accomodated us with bringing the bike up and the kindness from your cleaners giving us advive on where to go and how to get there was very sueful. All the equipment provided in the bungalow really helped and we had a fabulous time. Thank you very much......August 2011
...Ideal cottage for the family Holiday. And as my son in law ,Who was from Skerries near Dublin is a cyclist and Brought his Bike along It was ideally Situated. Very roomy And Handy to a lot of Interesting places . Would Recommend. ....April 2011

...The location is great. My husband & I loved the garden and the view of the steam trains. Although the garden wasn\'t sutable for my elderly parents the house was excelent and we took advantage of the Anglers Arms every night.....September 2010

It is definately a bungalow of distinction, we all felt at home straight away and were very pleased with everything about the accommodation. Adults and children all enjoyed the steam train and boat ride and there was plenty to keep us busy despite the rainy weather. Thanks again will recommend this to others......July 2010

...Thanks for a lovely weekend stay, we all thought the property was very clean and accommodating with a nice homely feel and charming garden space. My brother's two youngsters especially enjoyed the steam rail and ferry trip which is ideally located for the property & the stunning lake scenery. Will happily recommend to friends and hopefully find the opportunity to book again.....May 2010

...We had a fabulous weekend, a lovely place for us all to meet up for a birthday celebration. An ideal base for trips out around the Lakes, we took advantage of the good weather and explored the area. Some of us had previously stayed at the cottage a while ago and were most impressed with the recent renovations, new visitors in our party took away your card to recommend the place to their friends. ...It was an excellent experience in LAKE DISTRICT and my entire family enjoyed the holiday. In addition to the extensive sight seeing, the fact that we were staying at a pretty cosy & comfortable cottage with all the necessities (including the kitchen utensils, attractions information and the delicious cookies which the children enjoyed) with easy access to the major attractions made our holiday memorable and we certainly take happy memories with us back to Dubai. I certainly would be recommending your cottage to my friends back home who wants to visit Lake District and I have taken a business card of yours as well with me. .....August 2008

...We found the cottage very comfortable and a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. The washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and \'fridge were of a good quality, something much appreciated in a holiday home. The unusual addition of free internet access was a real bonus and extremely useful. The books, games DVDs and videos available for our use were very welcome. The cottage will be improved considerably by the extra toilet facilities you are planning for next year. The booking procedure and communication throughout were excellent......August 2006

We had a fantastic weekend, just a shame England lost! We had a nice bar-b-q on Saturday and on Sunday went on the steam train to Lakeside. The cottage was lovely and very well equipped. ... We would definitely go again..July 2006

Location was ideal for us and we had a great time with many people who dropped by to visit remarking on what a great place we had and at a great price. ...We were a little surprised to find the cottage right on the side of the dual carriageway and turning across the road was a bit tricky. However, this did not spoil our holiday in any way, nor were we disturbed by the noise of the traffic.....July 2004
